The Institute was one of the founders of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine. From the very beginning of its existence RIBP is a collective member of the Academy.
From 1965 Institute annually publishes interdepartmental scientific and technical collection “Building Industry”. In addition, in cooperation with the Academy of Ukraine, in 2001 the institute launched and regularly publishes two issues a year magazine “New technologies in construction.” Both publications included in the list of scientific professional certification of the Department of Personnel Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, where can be published main results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences. Regularly it is held conferences and seminars.
International relations of Institute are in participation of Institute scientists in international conferences of Belarus, Spain and Israel, cooperation with foreign firms and others.
The Institute is a member of the All-Ukrainian “Soil mechanics, foundation engineering and Geotechnics’ Association of modern trench less technology and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Construction in Ukraine.
For sixty-six years of institute’s existence it were repeatedly changed its name and subordination, but did not change the main directions of scientific activity – organization, mechanization and technology of industrial, housing and civil and special construction.
The Institute has a long experience in research, scientific, technical and project work, as well as experience in implementation of their projects in construction, industry and other organizations in Ukraine and abroad.
The Institute had initiated new research ways of Industrial Science development, which under the direction of leading scientists of the institute turned in schools and in different years with the participation of scientists of the Institute contributed to raising the technical level of construction Ukraine.
